ZnSe

The Zinc selenide material is a yellow transparent polycrystalline material, and the crystal particle size is about 70 μ m. Light transmission range 0.5-20 μm. Synthesized by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method, there is basically no impurity absorption, and the scattering loss is extremely low. Due to the impact on 10.6 μ the absorption of m-wavelength light is very small, making it the preferred material for optical devices in high-power CO2 laser systems. In addition, due to its wide transmission band, this material is also widely used as an infrared detection and imaging optical element.
