Infrared Optical Materials
CVD ZnS (chemical vapor deposition Zinc sulfide) is an important infrared window material, which transmits from visible light to long wavelength infrared (0.4-14 μ m) It is widely used in fields such as infrared astronomical satellites, infrared spectrometers, measuring instruments, and thermal imagers, and is also one of the main candidate materials for long wave optical windows and domes.
Multi spectral ZnS is made of standard CVD ZnS by Hot isostatic pressing process, which is in the full band range of visible light to long wave infrared (0.4-14 μ m) with excellent optical transmission performance.
Element ZnS(E-ZnS)is a special growing process similar as CVD, it needn’t HIP process but also has the same transmission performance from visible to LWIR.

First generation Zinc sulfide: Hot pressed Zinc sulfide
Batch manufacturing costs are low, only transmits medium waves, and the material manufacturing process is prone to internal pollutants.
Second generation Zinc sulfide: CVD Zinc sulfide/Multispectral Zinc sulfide
Current mainstream product, dual use for both military and civilian use
The third generation Zinc sulfide: Element level Zinc sulfide
Military oriented, suitable for high temperature and Mach, aircraft windows, and high-speed domes
Anticipation Photonics can provide Zinc sulfide dimensions.
Maximum size: 1000 * 1000mm
Maximum thickness: 40mm
